Abstract or Summary:
Discusses the use of associative passwords that are created by users by combining an element they associate with the targeted site or service along with a personal factor. The talk discusses the common structures people chose for these passwords as well as how easy they improved recall rate compared to normal passwords. Password cracking tools were then used against the associative passwords from the study to measure their strength.
