Behavioral Biometrics as a Mechanism for Delaying the Obsolescence of Traditional Passwords
Date: December 2014 Publication: 7th International Conference on Passwords (Passwords14 Trondheim) Source 1: http://www.slideshare.net/ElaineWooton/behavioral-biometrics-mechanism-for-delaying-password-obsolescence Abstract or Summary:
Many people hate passwords, but it doesn't seem like they'll ever be completely eliminated. This presentation talks about capturing behavioral charactertics associated with mobile phone use and creating 'virtual images' summarizing that behavior to preserve privacy. These images could then be stored on a server and used to authenticate that the person using a phone is who they say they are.
