Abstract or Summary:
This framework is borne of the need to successfully select, integrate, deploy and manage authentication mechanisms within computer systems; many such systems support society in its need to verify the identity of an entity. To this end this document provides a complete framework for the adoption of strong authentication within an organization or a computer system. Whilst its focus is that of the corporate enterprise, it is useful to smaller enterprises and Government organisations alike.
